What happens to your data when you visit this site or request a quote. Short, because very little happens.
Who is responsible for your data
Arrosticini by Mario is a trading name of LuSo SComm, a Belgian limited partnership (CommV), company number BE 1030.626.978. LuSo SComm is the data controller for the personal data described here. If you have questions about your data, email info@arrosticinibymario.be.
This site sets no cookies
No cookies, no visitor analytics, no advertising scripts. There is nothing for you to dismiss. The fonts and images are served by this site itself, not by a third party.
The quote form
What you type stays in your own browser. Nothing is sent to us while you write and nothing is stored on this site. Only when you click send does your own email app or WhatsApp open with a prepared message, which you can still edit before sending. If you do not send it, we have nothing.
What we do keep
The messages you send us, by email or WhatsApp, and the details in them: your name, your contact details and what you are asking for. We use them to answer you and to carry out the booking. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or, for a general question, our legitimate interest in replying.
How long we keep it
An enquiry that does not lead to a booking is kept for at most one year. If the booking goes ahead, the invoicing data is kept for seven years, as Belgian accounting law requires.
Who we share it with
Nobody, other than the parties we need in order to operate: our hosting provider Vercel, where this site runs, and Microsoft, which handles our email. If you message us on WhatsApp, that goes through Meta and their terms apply as well. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Technical logs
Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs of visits, including the IP address. This is needed to keep the site running and to prevent abuse. We do not read them to track visitors.
Links elsewhere
From this site you can reach Instagram and WhatsApp. From the moment you click, their rules apply and not ours.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what data we hold, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. An email to info@arrosticinibymario.be is enough. We reply within a month.
If you are not happy
You can contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be. We would of course rather hear it from you first.
